What is it about polocrosse that is so addictive?
The excitement of the sport is second to none. The community is amazing. The horsemanship is phenomenal. The skills have grown immensely since we started twenty years ago. While this has been amazing for the sport, I believe it has made it harder for beginners to start out.
This year, the Queensland Polocrosse Association listened to Toowoomba Polocrosse Club members Jo and Nicole who pointed out how challenging it is for beginners to come into the sport. As a result, the Fun Grade was trialled with great success. I very much enjoyed being part of the Toowoomba Club this year and helping with the initiative.
I would love to see more of my horsey friends come and have a go and find out why polocrosse people become obsessed. We started Beauwood Park Equestrian Supplies three years ago to help fund our obsession and service the great polocrosse community.
