Stance Products

Following a question about Laminitic/Foundered horses, I asked the great ladies at Stance about what they recommend. The lovely Marrissa Jones (a recently converted polocrosse addict) responded with the below. Please let me know if you are interested in any of the products mentioned.

"For laminitis horses we always recommend feeding a low NSC diet to limit the risk of founder along with the addition of Turmericle to reduce the inflammation associated with the condition. Antioxidants like Vitamin E will assist the body's ability to control lactic acid build up which can be associated with the cause of foundering from high-carbohydrate diets. We sell straight Vitamin E as well as Vit E + Selenium with low feeding rates. From what I can see, Founderguard's active ingredient is an antibiotic, CoolStance Copra and PowerStance (powdered coconut oil) contain Lauric Acid which is a natural alternative to antibiotics with a NSC content of 11% making it safe for metabolic horses. I hope this helps answer your question and if you have any others, please don’t hesitate to ask."

Thanks for those who contacted me with specific orders. We are picking up our normal "essentials" tomorrow so come over or let us know if you need anything. You can pick it up from Calvert or Ma Ma Creek and we can deliver within 50km of Calvert.

The polocrosse season is creeping up on us all.
