Equestrian Supplies – Bellboots

Essential equipment for playing polocrosse in Australia is a set of four white bellboots. Bellboots cover the bulb of the heel, protecting it from cuts and bruises. These – along with a set of tendon boots - provide protection for your horse during the fast-paced game. At Beauwood Park Equestrian Supplies, we stock a range of different styles to suit your needs. The original Sims rubber bellboots are a great choice for being hardwearing and long lasting but they can be a challenge to put on and remove. If you’re getting older, like Amanda, you will go for the easier option of no turn bellboots with Velcro fastening.

We stock Fortworth, Professional Choice and Infinity brands. The new Infiniti brand bellboots have extra strength and protection provided by a black Kevlar strip down the back of the bellboot. Bellboots MUST be removed at the end of the day’s play and should also be removed when hosing your horse after each game to avoid rubs on your horse’s heels. Horse welfare is an important part of polocrosse in Australia and quality bellboots play a part in ensuring the welfare and protection of your valuable and loved equine partner.
